Little Lost David

‘Every song is personal to me, but everyone can relate to certain lyrics – everyone has had their dark moments, had their heart broken, lost someone they love. Music is salvation at the end of the day.’

Screened at Sheffield Doc/Fest & Channel 4 Television. Film available on request

A hybrid documentary that interplays between David’s life as musician with re-imagined scenes exploring his idea of music as salvation against his demons. An emotionally powerful singer songwriter, he nails the tone of modern life with his serrated songs of love and loss, with influences as wide as the Buckleys, Billie Holiday and William Blake.
